FAQ

Yes! We source from organic materials so you can feel good about what your family is wearing and how we are treating the earth. We also use a more eco-friendly printing process called DTG printing.

DTG stands for “direct-to-garment” printing. We’ve chosen this option because it provides consistent high-quality prints, it allows us to make every product on demand, and it is better for the environment. For example:

  • DTG printing uses water-based biodegradable ink. This type of ink is free of plastics found in oil-based ink, like polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which contain dangerous chemical additives and require a variety of chemicals for cleaning up.
  • DTG printing uses less water than other types of printing because it applies the ink to the shirts directly using inkjet technology and does not require washing on for the person who does the printing, as well as on the screens and other materials used.

DTG printed apparel should be machine-washed in cold water (below 90℉ or 30℃) inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and no fabric softener or bleach. DTG printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-drying works best to maintain the vibrancy of the design. It’s also better for the environment. Win! Win!
